Bill Brubaker, an Instructor at the Barn for Artistic Youth (BAY) in Niantic, Connecticut, and his daughter Kathryn, who also works there, show off some mounts of waterfowl contributed to them by CWA. The BAY is a private art studio directed by Bill’s wife, Sophia, which provides art lessons to students of all ages and also to adults. They have provided many of the entries to Connecticut's Junior Duck Stamp Contest, administered by CWA. The BAY was sorely in need of additional mounts for students to use for their paintings and CWA came to the rescue!
The mounts were generously donated to CWA by Mark Luthman from Hubbardston, Massachusetts. Mark is an excellent taxidermist and a well-known goose hunting expert. In fact, his close friends call him the "Goose Commander.” CWA thanks Mark for his donation and knows that the BAY will put them to good use. If you have an interest in learning or further developing your painting skills, please contact the BAY at www.barn4art.com.
